Different Al models or providers consume credits at different rates. When setting up the Chatbot we aim to optimise the accuracy and relevancy of responses and cost, ideally deploying a cost effective LLM such as GPT 3.5 Turbo. In this case one query=1 message credit. If more advanced models are used - such as GPT 4, there is a multiplier effect and the credits are consumed at a higher rate - currently, x20 for GPT4 vs GPT 3.5 Turbo.
Similarly, when setting up Voice Agents - there are different providers. The base voice usage for 1 second of voice = 1 message credit. Using premium providers - such as Elevenlabs consumes higher messages at the rate of 2.5 credits per 1 second of voice.
